About This Service
MRI uses a strong magnet and radio waves — not radiation — to create highly detailed pictures of soft tissue, organs, joints, and the spine. Because comfort matters as much as image quality, our center offers more than one type of MRI machine and matches you to the one that suits your exam and your body. Open MRI has a wider, more open design that many patients prefer if they feel closed in or need extra room. Higher-strength machines, measured in Tesla (such as 1.5 Tesla and 3 Tesla systems), capture finer detail that can help your doctor see very small findings. Ask our team which of the machines available at our center is the right fit when you schedule.
