What is Magnetic Resonance Imaging?
Most people are familiar with magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). It’s a radiation-free procedure that uses radio waves and a powerful magnet to produce pictures of areas within the body in minute detail.
What you might not be aware of is that most MRI machines operate at a magnetic strength of 1.5 Tesla, or 1.5T. The 3T MRI at Starling Diagnostics offers twice the magnetic strength – creating the most detailed images available.
A 3T MRI can scan the brain, spine, the soft tissue of joints, and even the inside of bones and blood vessels – and render extremely clear and vivid images. A superior MRI, our 3T machine is critical to diagnosing hard-to-see abnormalities.
