Work side by side with our providers, capturing each visit in the chart as it happens so they can keep their attention on the patient. A great first step for anyone building a career in healthcare.
What you'll do
- Document patient encounters in the EMR in real time during visits
- Capture provider dictation, exam findings, and care plans accurately
- Prepare charts ahead of each visit — prior notes, labs, and imaging reports
- Route completed notes to the provider for review and sign-off
- Follow HIPAA and clinic documentation standards at all times
What we're looking for
- High school diploma or GED (health-related coursework a plus)
- Fast, accurate typing and strong written English
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- Comfort with EHR software
- Comfort in a documentation-only role — scribes do not make independent clinical decisions
